An Early Flinchbaugh Bible
Owned by Samuel Pius Flinchbaugh & Mattie Viola Gladfelter/Flinchbaugh
I obtained this Bible very recently - 2009.  Thanks to the help of Maureen Rodgers I was able to acquire this Bible

Jacob Flinchbaugh  (It says from Felton Pa)
Adam Flinchbaugh - Samuel's father born 1852 - 1927
His mother Emma Horn born 1855 - 1925

I believe Adam's father to be John Flinchbaugh born 1828 - 1898
John's wife was Mary Shenberger born 1828 - 1895
It looks like  Viola J Flinchbaugh/Pettit attended the Flinchbaugh Family Reuion in 1928.
Along with her Husband Charles M. Pettit
This is when everyone was handed the Booklet of Early Flinchbaugh's in York Co Pa
by JM Flinchbaugh

Also found in the Bible were two tags from this reunion - I imangine belonging to
Viola and her husband Charles - there names are signed inside this Booklet
They may have also played music for everyone to enjoy since it says inside the booklet that Viola was a Pianist and her husband played the Violin - that I'm not sure of.
